OK. We went to Tulsa two weeks ago. Had a great time. Temps were in the 30's and 40's, which was below normal, but the following weekend was in the teens and 20's with freezing rain, so we did all right.)

Good courses, great people, lots of wind!! Not a lot of elevation change on most of the courses, but most had good use of trees and water hazards.....

Copper Canyon - This is actually a YMCA owned course, and is closed in summer when the kids are camping. Heavy woods and water hazards. Not a lot of deuce ops.

Riverside - Fairly open and long. Big wind blowing down river made the up wind shots a real challenge.

Haikey Creek - Flat, but good use of trees, and long, especially into the wind. (Why is *every* shot into the wind!?!) The course is being re-laid out to challenge and eliminate some crossing fairways.

Hunter Park - Nice mix of woods, open, elevation, and a damn creek running through the whole thing. Fortunately for us, the water is low this time of year, or we might have run out of plastic.

McClure Park - Probably the best mix of the courses we played. Would love to play it again on a calm day, if *that* ever happens. Nice layout with the trees and creek.

Dovillio - Long, flat, mostly open, (and windy!) zzzzzz

We shot 8 rounds in 4 days (played McClure and Hunter twice). Lots of blisters and sore muscles for the boys from MN who haven't shot much in the last 5 months. But we had a great time.

Keep in low into the wind.....
